In November, I had the privilege of going on a business trip to Saudi Arabia, covering cities such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dubai, Riyadh, and Jeddah. This journey exposed me to diverse cultures and living environments, fostering deep connections with many international friends. Upon my return, I would like to share some insights and experiences from this trip.

Communication with Foreigners

First and foremost, I realized that regardless of location, there isn't a significant difference between people. In the process of communicating with foreigners, I found that respect, friendliness, and sincerity are key to breaking cultural barriers. Regardless of language barriers, a smile and genuine communication can bridge the gap and make interactions more enjoyable.

Saudi Arabia

Friends are friends, business is business

Building friendships with foreign partners is an effective way to drive business. By establishing genuine and profound relationships, we can easily gain trust and foster more collaborations. In Saudi Arabia, I deeply understood the concept of "friends are friends, business is business." The bridge of friendship makes business cooperation smoother.

Warm-hearted, cool-headed

While dealing with business matters, I learned to maintain enthusiasm while keeping a calm and rational mindset. A stable mentality and rational thinking help us better cope with various challenges and pressures, ensuring that each day goes smoothly.

Insights into Different Cultures

My trip to Saudi Arabia allowed me to personally experience the impact of different cultures, people, and living environments on an individual. This experience subtly enriched my perspective, enhancing my understanding of the diversity of worldviews and value chains, and improving my cultural adaptability.

Adaptation

Mentally and physically, adjusting to the time difference is a challenge, but maintaining a steady mindset usually takes about a week. In terms of mental well-being, I learned to spend time with colleagues, share joy, and alleviate any unhappiness.

In daily life, paying attention to diet and daily necessities is crucial. Saudi Arabia offers Chinese restaurants and local specialties, and for daily necessities, purchasing in advance helps better adapt to local price levels.

Client Preparation

Before meeting clients, I summarized key points for preparation:

1. Demeanor: Regardless of the level of preparation, I always maintain a positive state to leave a good first impression on the client.
2. Confidence: Confidence is the key to success. In Saudi Arabia, I learned that regardless of the advantages other competitors may present, we must believe in our product's superiority and articulate its unique features clearly.
3. Professional Competence: Background checks on the market and market focus are crucial. Understanding client needs and conducting thorough market research in advance allows us to better meet client requirements.

This trip to Saudi Arabia not only provided personal growth opportunities but also brought more business opportunities to the company. Through deep collaboration with Saudi clients, our company's products gained better recognition in the international market. I hope this sharing can provide inspiration and assistance, allowing us to collectively create more brilliant achievements on the international trade stage!
